In a local news report from Augusta, Maine, the state’s governor cut the ribbon on a manufacturing facility that expanded its size and capacity—but struggled to expand its workforce. According to the report, Kennebec Technologies faces difficulty finding skilled employees to fill open positions, while the machine tools Kennebec has added allow the existing employees to achieve more productivity.
