Machine tool builder and turnkey solution provider Chiron America recently began construction on a 20,000-square-foot addition to its existing 55,000-square-foot facility in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Machine tool builder and turnkey solution provider Chiron America recently began construction on a 20,000-square-foot addition to its existing 55,000-square-foot facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. The expansion is in response to increased sales since the fourth quarter of 2009. The new floor space will provide increased assembly and turnkey capabilities, the company says, adding that it plans to increase its workforce by 20 percent.
