Doosan Machine Tools America hosted an open house to celebrate the company’s recently expanded Technical Center at its Pine Brook, New Jersey, headquarters. The company welcomed customers and members of its North American distributor network.
The company unveiled several machines in the center’s redesigned demonstration area. The HP5100II horizontal machining center was integrated with the company’s compact linear pallet system for the machining of aerospace components and other high-productivity applications. The Puma MX 1600ST mill-turn center was also highlighted for the machining of smaller parts such as those made in the medical sector. Another product shown was the DNM 200 5AX, a five-axis machine that is designed to reduce setup time and part handling for improved component accuracy.
The tech center also contains a dedicated applications engineering, training and spindle lab; parts warehouse; and service departments.
