Mazak Showcases Production Line with Virtual Campus Tour

Mazak Corporation has launched a new 360-degree virtual campus tour to help manufacturers see its Florence, Kentucky-based headquarters in action. Part of the company’s expanded range of holistic digital experiences, this new tour offers an inside look at the infrastructure Mazak uses to deliver manufacturing technology, service and support.
“I’m proud to come to work every day at one of the world’s most advanced manufacturing facilities,” Mazak president Dan Janka says in his video greeting for the new virtual tour. “All of this is based on a simple principle: We use Mazaks to build Mazaks. That’s how much we believe in our technology, and you’ll see that passion for manufacturing excellence in every corner of our Kentucky campus.”
Covering the Mazak iSMART Factory, National Technology Center and North American Parts Center & Spindle Rebuild, the new virtual tour uses narration, 360-degree video and simple VR functionality to create an immersive experience. The tour, available at , covers the entirety of the Kentucky facility’s production line, from laser processing and welding to modular and final assembly. It also features key locations in the National Learning Center, MAZATROL Lab, Spindle Rebuild department and more.
The 360-degree Virtual Tour is one component of Mazak’s expanded range of digital experiences for customers, which also includes All Axes LIVE, the company’s series of online events, and the Virtual Technology Center, which brings the Mazak Technology and Technical Center experience directly to customers’ devices. The entire Mazak Kentucky campus is also open to visitors – manufacturers interested in an in-person tour should reach out to their local Mazak representatives for more information.
