Omegasonics has opened a new manufacturing plant in Ferndale, Washington. The expansion is in response to the company’s business growth and the release of several new products. According to President Frank Pedeflous, sales of its ultrasonic cleaning systems have grown 20 percent in the last two years, prompting the need for additional production staff and capacity.
The 4,000-square-foot plant is the firm’s second production facility and will employ five staff members, who will fabricate several of the company’s machine models.
“We chose this particular area because of its impressive talent pool with ultrasonic cleaning expertise,” says Mr. Pedeflous. “We’re hiring individuals that will be able to hit the ground running and get the plant fully operational in a minimal amount of time.”
