TST Tooling Software Technology (Clarkston, Mich.) and Vero (Wixom, Mich.) have made an in-kind grant of Edgecam software worth $750,000 to Lawrence Technical University, located near Detroit, in Southfield, Mich. The grant gives LTU engineering students access to the same software many companies use to machine components for industries including automotive, defense and medical, Vero says. Additionally, LTU’s Blue Devil Motorsports teams will be able to use Edgecam to create parts for their vehicles.
