Featured in the latest release of PartMaker, version 7.8, the Production Milling Module (PMM) is designed to let users simulate and optimize the programming of horizontal machining centers with tombstone fixtures. Using this module, the user can place each part in a separate programming face window. Each part can then have a separate work offset assigned to it, as well as to the side of the tombstone fixture on which it is mounted. Alternatively, users can program each side of a multi-sided part to be machined with a different tombstone indexing position.
