According to manufacturer LNS, its Sprint 542 bar feeder can be adjusted to specific user needs to ensure that a nightshift runs without a production stop. Features include a human-machine interface (HMI) with a touchscreen that makes it easy to supervise the machine, troubleshoot and enter values quickly, the company says. The bar feeder also includes a high-level communication system between the machine tool and bar feeder that enables manufacturers to maintain, update and operate the machines from a main operation office, thus improving productivity.
