The company’s cleanable heat exchanger allows contaminants such as swarf to be removed without disconnecting refrigeration lines or process piping. This is said to save money by reducing downtime and eliminating the need for a certified refrigeration contractor to evacuate and recharge the chiller system. The heat exchanger is constructed with steel plate sides and stainless steel tubes. The side plates can be completely removed, allowing access for cleaning. It is designed for use with metalworking fluids such as water-soluble coolants, and cutting and grinding oils. A range of models are available for applications from cooling the fluid on a single machine to cooling a large reservoir on a central filtration system.Â
