The CleanVeyor ultrasonic parts washer from Cleaning Technologies Group combines spray, immersion and ultrasonic cleaning technologies for applications requiring high production outputs and stringent cleanliness levels. According to the company, the washer is well-suited for parts with complex internal geometries that need final cleaning prior to assembly. The modular parts washer is said to reduce or eliminate failures attributed to inadequate part cleaning, as well as reduce chemical usage.
 
First, a spray wash with a rotating brush module removes contamination from parts. A higher pressure can be used to remove greater amounts of debris. Then, ultrasonic technology in an immersion environment uses the cavitation effect to generate high local temperatures and pressures for additional mechanical cleaning. More stages can be added to the washer as needed.
 
The CleanVeyor is available in three models: the CLV-8 with a single-lane conveyor; the CLV-16 with a two-lane conveyor; and the CLV-24 with a three-lane conveyor and parts capacity ranging from 600 to 1,800/hr.
