Leaders-In background

Vericut 7 CNC machine simulation, verification and optimization software enables users to eliminate manual prove-out of NC programs, the company says. It also reduces scrap loss and rework. According to the company, the program optimizes NC programs to save time and produce a higher-quality surface finish. The software simulates virtually all types of CNC machine tools, including those from Mori Seiki, Mazak, Makino, Matsuura, Hermle, DMG, DIXI and Chiron. The software can run stand-alone or be integrated with CAM systems such as Catia V5, NX, Pro/E, MasterCAM, EdgeCAM and GibbsCAM.

Performance-improving enhancements reduce the time required for manufacturing engineers to develop, analyze, inspect and document the CNC programming and machining process, the company says. The user interface has also been modified to create a more natural and obvious sequence for common user actions.
