The company has introduced the CVD coated insert grade F5020 for cast iron milling applications. Proprietary "Micro-Structure Controlling" technology is said to have improved tool life by enhancing wear and fracture resistance for a range of milling operations of cast iron including ductile cast iron. Surface coating layers of the product are a lamination of special titanium compounds vapor deposited by the company's Even Coating technology that improves lubricity f the coating layer. This coating process prevents occurences of material welding to an insert there by causing chipping.
