Available from oelheld, the Vomat FA 480 – 960 series filtration systems are capable of processing 120 to 240 gpm. The tank’s oil volume holds 320 gallons, and the filter housing features separate compartments for dirty and clean oil. The company’s high-capacity filter cartridges are back-washable and suitable for use with materials such as carbide, HSS, PKD and CBN. The filter supply pump is frequency-controlled enabling controlled and on-demand filtration. Filters are automatically cleaned when needed. The compact system measures 55" × 99" × 48" and requires little floor space, the company says. An integrated compressor cooling system is standard and can be installed as a peripheral or resort to cooling via heat exchanger if there is a plant-wide cool water system available.
