IBAG North America offers its Micro Line compact, high-speed spindles for Swiss-type turning machines. Spindle sizes range from 16 to 33 mm in diameter with speeds ranging to 120,000 rpm and power to 390 W. Suitable for use with the Micro Line’s 22-, 25- and 33-mm standard, back-working and right-angle spindles, the company’s micro collet system delivers accuracies of 1 micron TIR at the collet nose and handles tool diameters ranging to 1/8". The collets enable higher accuracies for precision milling and small drilling applications, the company says.
