Lovejoy Tool’s MaxCut 651 cutters use a chip gullet design combined with thick inserts (0.25") for continuous heavy-duty work and high metal removal rates. The inserts feature a 45-degree lead angle for free cutting and easier part entry. Featuring high corner strength, they are available in medium-pitch configurations for general machining and fine pitch for short-chip materials like cast iron. According to the company, the cutters’ 16 cutting edges contribute to greater production at lower cost. The cutter bodies feature an insert adjusting station designed to enable faster, more accurate insert positioning for optimal cutting efficiency. The cutters are available in diameters 3" and larger.
