According to manufacturer De-Sta-Co, Toggle Lock Plus clamps help maintain the over-center toggle position in applications in which there is apt to be movement or vibrations, such as transfer lines. Designed for safety and ergonomic benefit, the clamps are reliable when moving a fixture from point A to point B or when relocating an entire component, the company says.
The clamps are an expansion of the company’s 2002, 2007 and 2010 toggle clamp series. They feature bushings at major pivot points for longer life, while stop-point locations at the base are said to provide durability. For safety, the clamps have no pinch points. In addition, the clamping arm clears the workpiece to ease loading and unloading.
