Ceratizit’s MaxiMill 491 is a series of double-sided, 90-degree shoulder milling inserts with eight useable cutting edges. The tools are designed for ease of handling and can be quickly changed inside the machine, reducing machine downtime. The inserts’ coating technology effects stable and soft cutting, making them suitable for most requirements. Positive insert geometry and good surface quality promote extended tool life. The eight usable cutting edges of the inserts also contribute to cost effectiveness.
