GB\GeoSolidPro independent CAD software program extracts part geometry information powered by SolidWorks into Mazatrol. The company says that when using the application, CamLink takes full advantage of a solid part model. This automates unit creation by deriving a unit’s geometric data from the solids part model. Additionally, the software can import other CAD formats as well.
Shops that receive part designs in SolidWorks or other CAD software can now extract data from the solid model directly, rather than just the 2D drawing. This leads to increased efficiency and time savings, the company says.
