GenSwiss now offers delivery times of less than three weeks for application-specific Utilis inserts used with Utilis thread whirling rings and attachments in Swiss-type machines. The Utilis line provides whirling inserts for popular threads such as standard metric, ANSI and ISO Buttress-style threads for medical applications. The whirling rings are available with nine or 12 inserts for high-output thread production. According to the company, thread whirling allows for improved thread surface finish and can be used for threads smaller than 12 mm in diameter.
