Developed by Fastems, the Flexible Pallet Magazine (FPM) is a configurable, flexible manufacturing system designed to offer versatility in size, number of machines and control systems. At its smallest, the modular system consists of a machine tool, a loading station and a storage rack for 12 machine pallets. With extension modules, storage capacity can be increased to more than 100 machining pallets and 10 machine tools. In addition, configurable standard modules ensure quick installation and startup, the company says.

Designed for ease of use, the control system’s graphical interface guides and supports users in different tasks and manufacturing operations. Open control interfaces allow machine suppliers to customize their own functionalities.
