Millstar’s Quad Force Machining systems of solid carbide cutting tools feature cutting geometry with the capacity to perform four cutting actions in one. The series offers a hybrid combination of high-feed, variable flute, variable helix and offset geometries. The tooling system is suitable for high-feed machining, trochoidal machining, slide and slot milling, and plunge milling in hard and soft tool/die steels, stainless steels, and titanium. According to the company, the tools are time- and cost-effective, and can reduce the number of required tool changes and size of the tool library.
