Fryer Machine Systems’ MB-R toolroom bed mill with rigid spindle head is built in the U.S. for job shop and toolroom applications. The MB-R mill is designed for ease of use through its conversational control, fast setup keys and simple menu programming, which enables even one-off parts to be done quickly and efficiently, according to Fryer.
Equipped with a rigid spindle and optional tool changer, this machine is reportedly capable of single- or multi-part production with a 0.0002" accuracy.
No CNC experience is needed to use the MB-R’s manual handles, which are provided for the table, saddle and head. These handles feature full digital readout (DRO) of position. In addition, the machine features “Do One” cycles that enable users to automatically mill, pocket, drill and tap, one step at a time. Manual operations and semi-automatic operations can also be mixed to optimize one-piece production.
Built for accuracy, reliability and ease of use, Fryer Machine System’s MB-R is one of the company’s flagship machines.
