The Grease Fitting/Joint Cleaner opens clogged grease fittings and loosens hardened grease in joints. According to the company, by using the Grease Fitting Cleaner, users can easily open stubborn or clogged grease fittings and joints.
Many times when pumping grease into a grease fitting, the joint won't accept the grease. Usually the problem is a clogged fitting; however, changing the fitting doesn't always work. The reason is that the grease in the joint has become hard or contaminated. Now with the Grease Fitting Cleaner, the user can force a light oil into the joint, loosing up the old, hard grease and allowing new grease to be pushed in.
