Haas’ ST-10Y compact turning center features 4" off-center milling, drilling and tapping capabilities. High-torque live tooling and a servo-driven C axis are standard for four-axis cutting. Other features include a 9" × 14" (229 × 356 mm) maximum capacity; 16.25" (413 mm) swing; ±2.00" (±50.8 mm) Y-axis travel; a 15-hp (11.2 kW) vector drive; a 6,000-rpm, A2-5 spindle; and a 6.5" (165 mm) chuck, among others.
