Ingersoll Cutting Tools’ Aluminator series is suited for machining aluminum in low and high speed milling applications. The indexable milling cutters are also appropriate for heavy roughing and fine finishing work. The end mills and face mills are available in multiple densities, so users can select a cutter design specific to individual machining requirements.

Double-positive, deep dish molded rake face geometry provides free cutting, enabling cuts along walls of 0.100" or less, without disturbing or distorting the remaining material. There are four cutting edges per insert, and each insert is precision-ground on the locating seats and cutting edge periphery. According to the company, the combination of qualified inserts and the 0.100" wiping flat provides quality finishes even in high-feed applications.
