Big Kaiser Precision Tooling Inc. offers adjustable chamfering insert holders for the TW Series of Kaiser twin boring heads. These new insert holders accept ISO standard SC inserts and allow infinite adjustment of the insert pocket between 15 and 75 degrees. Graduations of 15 degrees are shown on the holders for quick reference, and intermediate angles can be set with the use of a tool presetter.
Available individually, the holders can be used on TW boring heads for chamfering or light semi-finish boring applications in which a special lead angle is required. The inclusive boring diameter range for these holders at any angle is 2.28” to 8.07”. Additional diameter ranges may be possible for specific angle applications.
