Walter USA has expanded its WPP indexable insert range to include eight positive cutting edge geometries. Part of the Tiger-tec for steel family, inserts' cutting edges are designed to ensure a quiet cut and to reduce vibration. They can be used for operations ranging from roughing to fine finishing in virtually all types of steel. According to the company, they are particularly suitable for low cutting depths or for applications requiring high precision and surface quality.
