Viking Blast and Wash Systems has developed its MRW 4830 industrial washing and phosphatizing system. This unit has a large 48" tall by 30" wide wash zone. The redesigned system can be heated with either natural gas or electric heating elements in both the wash and phosphatizing sections. The washer’s pump system delivers 15 hp of high-volume water at approximately 60 psi, and the phosphatizing system uses 7.5 hp at approximately 60 psi. Options for a 20 hp wash pump are also available. Filtration, oil skimming and sludge drag options help to maintain water quality for maximum utilization of chemical while reducing labor. The unit is designed for manufacturers that are wet painting or powder coating metal surfaces using monorail-type conveyance.
