Useful for face milling, profiling, slotting, step milling and plunge roughing, Dapra’s SSPM series milling tools are designed for 90-degree cutting. Their square inserts have reinforced corners designed for high feed rates, as well as a positive geometry that is said to enable smooth cutting. The company says the tools’ fine pitch enhances metal removal and surface finish. Available in diameters ranging from 2" to 6", the tools are available in three carbide substrates: toughest, medium and hardest.
