Emuge’s Top Cut high-performance carbide end mills are available in a range of styles and geometries as well as in both metric and inch sizes. Designed for versatility, the end can be used to cut a broad array of materials, including steel as hard as 55 HRc.
The end mills feature a variable-helix flute technology and a variant of the high-heat-resistant TiAlN coating, making them well-suited for general milling and mold and die applications. These features, in addition to internal coolant capabilities, are said to enable highly efficient material removal with minimal vibration and wear.
The micro-grain carbide end mills feature relief-ground cutting edges, making them well suited for roughing as well as finish cutting operations, the company says.
