Designed for aluminum cutting, Pratic’s PIA-series long-travel machine is also suitable for four-axis milling and drilling of large parts or multiple small parts in copper and other metals. Capability to machine four sides in one clamping is said to reduce error and improve efficiency. Also available is an extra-travel machine that’s said to be useful for automotive parts like luggage racks, sunproof guiderails, decorative frames, front and back bumpers, and pedals.
