Arc Informatique’s PcVue V.8.2 supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) software is said to reduce the cost of running and implementing process control projects. This software is compatible with AutoCAD and enables the conversion of FactoryLink data. This version of the software integrates the existing data of old control platforms including general file formats such as .dwg or .dxf.
The software supports the virtual environment via VMware. Instead of having several machines distributed around the control site, a single PC manages several virtual machines. Web services connectors are improved through an open Web connection interface that allows third-party applications, such as ERP or MES, to connect independently of the number of machines or their geographic location.
