Planit Software’s manufacturing management system, e2i, offers enhancements to its 2010 R1 release. The management system tracks and manages cost and quotations throughout the design and manufacturing process.
Stock control has been redesigned to make management more intuitive. Users can now manage the total quantity of a stock item in relation to real-time supply and demand, rather than individual allocations. Stock control enables users to record the consumption of raw materials at the point of use.
Enhancements have also been made to the Sybase PowerBuilder and InfoMaker tools. These upgrades give users an improved environment to create reports. For example, calendar controls are available to help users set date fields, while new reporting tools allow the creation of tree-style reports.
The management system supports both Windows Vista and Windows 7.
