NCL multi-axis machining software, developed by NCCS, blends automated and user-controlled toolpath generation techniques said to reduce programming time and increase quality. NCL enables users to quickly produce any part, reduce machining time, and improve quality and profits, according to the company.
The newest release is said to optimize NC code and enable custom cut routines and 2½- through five-axis simultaneous motion. NCL runs native in the 32- and 64-bit environments of Windows. The increased memory allocation to the VoluMill Roughing module provides better performance and stability. A STEP converter was also added into the standard NCL release along with a more user-friendly graphic user interface.
