Flow’s Mach 4r is a combination robotic waterjet and saw cutting system designed to optimize countertop cutting and improve operator efficiency. The machine combines a waterjet’s precise corner radius and maximum material usage with a saw’s fast, straight-line cutting. An accurate, dependable robot and efficient software improve productivity, the company says, and a variety of pumps are available to complete the system.

The six-axis robot has a 20,000-hour maintenance cycle with an extended reach of 3.1 m. It utilizes the Paser waterjet cutting system and a 20-hp, direct-drive saw for countertop fabrication. Dual workzones enable simultaneous loading and cutting of slabs for improved speed and uptime. The system features automatic toolpaths and is programmed by a comprehensive, yet easy to use software suite, eliminating the need for G-code knowledge, the company says. Files from all major CAD programs are directly accepted.
