The TJR AR-5C pneumatic collet rotary table from CNC Indexing & Feeding Technologies is designed to provide an affordable alternative to three- or four-jaw chucks for workpieces requiring 5C collets.
The rotary table employs a 5C closer system and can be integrated into a CNC machine control as a full fourth axis or operated as an indexer via TJR’s Single Axis Controller (SAC). The table features a powerful pneumatic braking system and is available in right- and left-handed motor mount configurations. A radial-axial preloaded bearing system is said to provide rigidity, and a dual-lead worm shaft and worm gear are designed to ensure long-term indexing accuracy in both directions.
Table diameter is 125 mm (4.92"), with a through-hole diameter of 35 mm (1.37"). Minimum indexing increment is 0.001 degree and maximum table rotation speed is 83.3 rpm. Peak allowable workpiece load is 100 kg (220 lbs), and servomotor models are available for FANUC or Mitsubishi tapers.
