Rush Machinery is showcasing the CNC Cut-Prepoint-Chamfer machine. The machine is designed to perform any combination of cutting, prepointing and chamfering operations on full length, blank carbide rods to produce tool blanks ready for finish grinding. By combining these three processes into one turnkey solution, the Cut-Prepoint-Chamfer machine is said to boost rate of production and reduce the overall cycle time on tool blanks.
Rush Machinery builds and services production and support machines for industries that use diamond and CBN wheels and work with carbide and other hard materials. The company’s machines are designed for truing and dressing diamond/CBN wheels; cutting off carbide/HSS rods and tools; cutting, prepointing and chamfering carbide/HSS rods; chamfering carbide/HSS rods; balancing wheels and tools; grinding PCD tools; filtering grinding oil; and sharpening drills and tools.
