PartMaker CAD/CAM software version 2010 is designed for CNC mills, lathes, wire EDMs, turn-mill centers and Swiss-type lathes. The software can perform five-axis simultaneous milling on multi-axis lathes. Highlights include more powerful milling functionality, enhanced grooving routines, faster toolpath creation, improved solid-model-based programming tools, better visualization of thread whirling and more. The software is said to be well-suited for the high-tech manufacturing market, especially medical manufacturing.
