The NCSIMUL software platform from Spring Technologies improves forecasts, reduces operating cycles and automates production, according to the company. A numerical chain links automatically from the engineering department to the shop floor, providing users with a decision-making tool.
The Optitool module can be added to NCSIMUL Machine, where it improves existing G-code to increase efficiency, and NCSIMUL 4CAM, where it improves imported, converted and programmed toolpaths. It enables users to better understand tool wear rate by accounting for turning and milling. Automation of before-and-after comparisons results in improved analysis.
The 4CAM module increases the speed of G-code creation. Analysis of traverse motions compares time and tool travel distance between two CNC machines. The Automation modules runs G-code validations automatically and provides a go/no-go gage on CNC programs. It improves workflow based on XML development. The NCdoc module generates datasheets automatically and enables the documentation of each operation. With expanded details and graphics, it improves communication.
