The company is introducing a new line of 0.125" diameter solid carbide boring tools. The tool length tolerance for these small diameter boring tools is 0.010". According to the company, this length tolerance will help to minimize downtime when changing a tool during a production run. The tools come standard with a precision-ground flat, which the company says will ensure that the cutting edge is on center for the best results in boring and longer tool life.
This line of solid carbide tools has 17 different diameter and length configurations. The minimum bore diameters range from as small as 0.050" in diameter to as large as 0.110" in diameter. The boring tools can bore holes up to 0.700" in depth, depending on the bore diameter.
These solid carbide boring Tools can be used in boring heads and in CNC lathes and Swiss automatics.
