Sumitomo Electric Carbide has enhanced its drilling selection with the expansion of the WDX series large-diameter drills. Designed for stable drilling, tool diameters range from 0.5625" to 2.625" in 2×D, 3×D and 4×D body lengths. They feature a four-cornered indexable insert design to maximize cost effectiveness and ease tool management, the company says. The series features inserts per drill, regardless of diameter size.
