The tools are available in a variety of coatings and with shanks as small as 7 mm to suit the smallest Swiss machines. Geometries are available for front turn, back turn, micro-threading and cutoff work, as well as “full radius” grooving and turning in standard increments. According to the company, the tools can be combined with special ID working holders to handle axial (face) grooving and ID work on larger parts.
