The Exocarb thread mill is ideal for applications requiring difficult to machine
exotic materials such as Inconel, titanium and high nickel content alloys, according the company. These thread mills are suited for aerospace, medical and military components.
The combination of sub micro-grain carbide and TiAIN coating results in tools that are said to perform well in materials up to 55HRC. The thread mills are available in standard inch and metric sizes and feature most thread types (UNC, UNF, UNEF, UNS, NPT, NPTF).
