Tool Brings A Third Cutting Edge To Parting and Grooving
Share

The company is expanding its line of cutting tools for parting and grooving with the new CoroCut 3. It brings a third cutting edge to the shallow parting of tubes, bars and grooving operations. The small parting widths in 0.079", 0.059" and 0.039" will reduce the raw material usage, according to the company.
Secured by a clamping solution, the company says this tool guarantees accurate location combined with tight indexing tolerances to help produce workpieces with close length tolerances. Two dedicated insert geometries ensure peak performance and excellent surface finish in all workpiece materials, the company says. The same holder can be used for all insert widths, whihc is said to give maximum versatility.
