Rovi Products Inc. has added two models to its 5C multiblock fixtures—a six and an eight station unit.Ìý Similar to the four station fixture, these fixtures accept 5C collets. Using the wrench that is provided, users can turn each knob 90 degrees to activate the cam, which in turn pushes a sleeve over the collet to enable the clamping action. According to the company, the part does not move because the collet remains stationary. In addition, mounting holes can simplify fixturing to a tombstone or other types of fixtures.Ìý
