Commercial Machine and Engineering’s (CME) 400-mm, eight-sided tombstone with chip cover has been designed to promote ease of use while minimizing setups. Each face is 5.59" wide and 23.25" high. These specifications afford versatility in terms of fixturing options and the number of parts that can be accommodated by the tombstone, says the company. Ìý

Three forms are available. The first is a raw casting with machining done solely to the bottom and top of the tombstone along with a side locator; the second option is fully machined but has no machined drills on the face; and the third option is fully machined with facing and holes drilled and tapped.
