Braun Machinery will exhibit the Takumi H10, a vertical machining center equipped with a FANUC 31i series control that is designed specifically for the die/mold industry. The VMC features a rigid and thermally stable double-column design for parts and molds that require high precision and superior surface finishes. It offers XYZ travels of 40.16", 27.56" and 19.69", respectively; rapids of 1,259 ipm on all three axes; and a 15,000-rpm direct-drive spindle.
Braun also will demonstrate the Hurco VMX42i equipped with that company’s UltiMotion motion control system, which is designed to reduce cycle time as much as 30 percent while providing high surface-finish quality.
