Hypertherm showcases its most advanced waterjet, the Omax OptiMax, a new generation of waterjet that is said to provide faster and more accurate print-to-part cutting while reducing downtime.
The culmination of three decades of OMax engineering expertise and experience, the OptiMax is designed for speed and precision. According to the company, it offers an innovative linear drive system, intuitive software and superior usability features so users can deliver finished products faster.
New and improved features include IntelliMax premium software designed for ease-of-use and operation within minutes of installation; an IntelliVisor console with key metrics to optimize operations and complete system monitoring; a redesigned EnduroMax pump that automatically sets the correct pressure and minimizes fluctuations to improve component life; improved IntelliTrax drive system with advanced motion control incorporated into both X- and Y-rail assemblies; and a new garnet delivery system to further minimize downtime.
Combined with an optional TiltaJet taper compensation head, the new OptiMax waterjet line is said to be the most accurate system on the market. In addition, it provides advanced optional usability features such as water level control, under-bridge lighting and a machine status indicator, along with its fast, accurate and efficient cutting.
Like all OMax systems, OptiMax products include comprehensive after-sales service, unlimited free training and software upgrades, as well as a host of efficiency centered resources to maximize uptime and keep customers cutting.
