Osai USA’s OPENwiTP wireless teach pendant is designed for use with its OPENcontrol CNC manufacturing systems. The pendant is a wireless handheld console connected to the company’s CNC systems, useful for manual, automatic and custom operations. Featuring a 4.3" screen, the design is said to provide the operator with flexibility and efficiency.
Designed with CNC-specific video pages, the pendant includes automatic PP execution, axis motion, GMT function status and manual execution for continuous jog and incremental jog. Additionally, custom data commands are input into the system. The handheld terminal features a 5-megapixel auto-focus camera along with a barcode/QR reader, NFC reader/writer and live streaming video capability for remote diagnostics.
Additional pendant features include wireless transmission range between 50 and 100 m, selectable 2.4 or 5 GHZ, and a pairing feature to link the pendant to a machine. The complete components include: wireless teach pendant, terminal, base station, passive recharging unit and an antenna extension cable.Related Content
